Solo un pezzo, solo dai
Saturday 6 April 2019, as part of the Doppio Circuito project curated by Matteo Zauli, opens Solo un pezzo, solo dai by David Casini, an amplified audio artwork created in collaboration with Powersoft and installed in front of Terminal T1 of Villa Costanza in Scandicci (A1 motorway exit Villa Costanza, T1 tram terminus from Florence).
The opening incuded a live performance by the artist Giungla.
The work is available permanently from 10:00 to 22:00 every day. Anyone can connect with their own electric guitar or other electric musical instrument and play freely, becoming the real protagonist of the work. The title is a tribute to the song Piccolo Lord by songwriter Fausto Rossi, also known as Faust’O, contained in his 1978 debut album.
Powersoft is a world leader in the production of high energy efficiency amplifiers for the professional audio market.
